Looking to buy a gas fireplace. I like the look, this is "Modern Rock" is not registered. However, it is very expensive. It's really the right answer for the people to do things that could be dangerous. If you change a fireplace in a way that goes against the manufacturer, you not only void the warranty, but there is a possibility that this will affect the gas flow into the drive and cause an explosion. Unlikely, yes, but not impossible. Gas is not something to be lived.
